Florida Scholarships

 

NCCS has filed the necessary paperwork and has been qualified by the State of Florida to offer the three Florida scholarships available to students coming from public school into NCCS.  Information on these is listed below.

The Florida Legislature has funded a Corporate Scholarship. This scholarship has been funded for two years. Last year no new scholarships were awarded, however this year there will be money for new scholarships. These scholarships are for students who last year attended a Florida public school or are entering kindergarten or first grade this fall. Student must be 5 years old by September 1, 2004. There is also a household income eligibility requirement. If you have a student you think might qualify, contact Bonnie in the school office for an application. There is a $20 application fee and you will need a copy of your 2003 income tax return. Applications are also available to download from www.childrenfirstcf.org. The deadline for application submission is June 30, 2004, however the scholarships are awarded off the waiting list on a first come first served basis. Get yours in early.
