Thank you for visiting the NCCS website! We hope NCCS is a place where parents can be refreshed and encouraged in the sometimes difficult, but always worthwhile, work of homeschooling their children.
No matter what the national magazines may say, homeschooling is not usually easy and you get out of it what you put into it. If you and your children work hard, you will see a bounteous harvest of good results. If you and your children prefer the home part more than the school part of homeschooling, you will not see the fruit of a good education. Also, while many an article will present you with a choice between good academics and good character training, it is the belief of NCCS that you should expect both of these to be accomplished.
One of our major goals at NCCS is to help parents bring their children into the destiny which God has spoken for their lives. We believe you can help your children find that special thing for which God created them while and because you as their parents have taken charge of their education and set about the task of fitting them for that glorious destiny. God doesn't pick sad or stupid destinies for His children. He has designed each of us for a destiny hand-selected for us and then designed us and the events of our lives to move us toward that destiny.
NCCS is legally classified as a "non-traditional private school". One of our goals is to provide all the benefits of both private schooling and homeschooling. We operate just as all private schools operate; it is just that our classrooms are located all over the Central Florida area as well as our "distance" classrooms that appear as our parents travel the world and take homeschooling with them.
Enrollment of children in New Covenant Christian School is a privilege, not a right. Parents must understand that continued enrollment and reenrollment of their children is dependent on their support of the school, its staff, and its policies.
